Excellence in Care

We want people to receive high-quality care across NHS Scotland.

Excellence in Care was commissioned by the Scottish Government in response to the Vale of Leven Hospital Inquiry. The work seeks to improve, integrate and coordinate the delivery of quality care services.

Putting patients and families at the centre of their care is key. The work of Excellence in Care promotes assurance and a culture in which quality care can happen.
