The Mental health and learning disabilities (MHLD) staffing level tool is set up to enable nursing staff to record information to review workload and to calculate a recommended whole time equivalent (rWTE).
The tool uses the information entered by the practitioner to measure this workload, based on the intensity of work and time taken.
