Summary
Scottish Ministers requested that the Care Inspectorate lead the progress reviews of adult support and protection in collaboration with Healthcare Improvement Scotland and His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary in Scotland.

The purpose of these six joint inspection team progress reviews is to provide assurance about the extent to which improvement has progressed in each of these partnership areas.
The focus of this inspection was on whether adults at risk of harm in the Western Isles partnership area were safe, protected and supported.
