National Hub for reviewing and learning from the deaths of children and young people

Healthcare Improvement Scotland and the Care Inspectorate lead the National Hub. Together we review and learn from the deaths of children and young people.

In our work, we:

  • use a multidisciplinary and multi-agency approach
  • focus on using evidence to deliver change
  • aim to reduce deaths and harm to children and young people
  • want to ensure a review of the death of every child and young person to an agreed minimum standard
