The framework document supports staff with the principles of Excellence in Care. It is research led and consists of 16 key elements. The framework explains how the elements work together to deliver high-quality care.
The Excellence in Care framework has been co-developed with a range of stakeholders. It considers other strategic and improvement priorities within the system. It is also influenced by the findings from the Vale of Leven Hospital inquiry.
